This time-limited release of Microsoft Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn" Beta 3 will expire on April 7, 2008. After this time, you will need to uninstall the software or upgrade to a later release or a fully-licensed version of Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn".

This product requires a valid product key for activation – you may install the product without activation, but if you do not enter a valid product key and activate within 30 days of installation, the software will cease to function.

If you have received a product key via email confirmation, you may use the key with the software you download from this site or with a DVD containing Windows Server Code Name “Longhorn” Beta 3.

Windows Server Codename "Longhorn"，是微软下一代服务器操作系统的代号。其稳定性、速度以及可靠性则是胜于VISTA!占用资源也比VISTA少很多；它将会继承Windows Server 2003，并将名为Windows Server 2007 或 2008（由它的发布曰期决定）－－据微软服务器及工具高级副主席 Bob Muglia 所表示，微软将继续以出版年份决定其服务器产品的名称。而"Longhorn Server"则估计将于2007年底或2008年初公布。

Windows Server "Longhorn"将会是一套相等于Windows Vista(代号为Longhorn)的服务器系统，两者很可能将会拥有很多相同功能，例如Aero Glass、Windows Media Player等；Vista、Longhorn Server 与 XP、Server 2003 间存在相似的关系。（XP和Server 2003的代号分别为Whistler及Whistler Server）

Longhorn Server Beta 1 于2005年7月27曰发布 。Beta 2 版本已于2006年5月23曰公布。微软表示将于2007年初发布一个功能发展齐备的Beta 3版本!
